Personal Project
(concept / editorial / art-driven work)
EMBODIMENT
A movement study exploring body, landscape, and stillness.
The Concept:
This personal project explored the relationship between movement and environment. I wanted to create imagery that felt sculptural and grounded, where the body becomes part of the landscape.
The Inspiration:
Inspired by contemporary dance, desert landscapes, and soft earth tones, the visual direction focused on minimal styling and natural textures.
The Direction:
• location choice
• lighting approach
• wardrobe
• movement direction
• mood
I directed the movement to feel organic and slow, allowing the body to create shapes against the natural backdrop. Soft natural light and neutral wardrobe allowed the focus to remain on form and gesture.
The Process:
The shoot was intentionally minimal, relying on natural light and subtle shifts in movement to create variation within the frames.
Thoughts:
Personal projects like this allow me to explore new visual languages and bring fresh inspiration into my client work.
